Did Strikeforce Announce Nick Diaz vs. KJ Noons II By Mistake?

The devil is truly in the details.
Strikeforce sent out their usual email Tuesday afternoon, promoting the on-sale date for the organization’s next event—set for October 9th in San Jose, CA, and headlined by Welterweight Champion Nick Diaz.
The opponent wasn’t named…or was it? While the email says that his opponent isn’t named, look at this image from the left-hand sidebar. What do you see there?
“STRIKEFORCE: DIAZ VS. NOONS”
Interesting slip?
The rematch between the two has been talked about for years since Noons took a controversial 1st-round TKO victory due to cuts back in November 2007 for the defunct EliteXC promotion.
Diaz didn’t take the loss well and flipped off the doctor on his way out. What followed in the months afterward involved both fighters’ fathers getting involved and a huge mess that resulted in a rematch many wanted to see…but never happened.
Did Strikeforce tip its hand by mistake? We’ll find out soon enough.
