At UFC 105 this weekend, England’s favorite son Michael Bisping takes on former PRIDE star Denis Kang.

For reasons that are not clear to us here at UFC Betting Today, the linesmakers appear to be split over who is the favorite to win this fight.

Right now, the best odds on Denis Kang to win this can be found at BetOnline who are offering -115 on Kang to win.

The thing is : despite Kang’s impressive showing with PRIDE, he has lost 3 of his last 6 fights. And the opposition he has faced are nowhere near the standard of Bisping. Not to mention that ‘The Count’ has home support on his side for this one.

Bisping combines quality kick boxing skills with a solid takedown game and top control and I just can’t see that Kang can win this one.

If I was a cynic, I would suggest this was a match designed to give the UK UFC fans a home victory and to relaunch Michael Bisping’s career after the mauling he took at the hands of Dan Henderson.
