With both fighters having a winning record, this is possibly the most closely contested fight on the UFC 101 card.

It seems that no one – betting handicappers, commentators, sportsbooks – can make up their minds on this one. And with good reason.

The thing is that this middleweight fight is only Sadollah’s second for the UFC. He won his first but has been out for over a year with a broken clavicle and staph infection.

Hendricks by contrast is a talented wrestler who has a 5-0 record coming into this fight.

Right now, Amir Sadollah (-120 at BoDog ) is slight favorite, mainly, I suspect, due to his winning a series of The Ultimate Fighter.

What is clear is that the UFC organisation has a lot invested in Sadollar, hence the surprisingly high profile of this fight.

However, Hendricks (+110 at BetEd ) is the more experienced man and his wresting skills give him the advantage.

I pick Hendricks to win this one, possibly in Round Two.
